In 2011, our dream became reality with the opening of a new production site in Agios Athanasios in Limassol. Our new home is a 2,700 square meter, purpose-built facility, designed with state-of-the-art technology and based on exacting quality and hygienic standards.

The high-tech equipment allows New York Sweets to monitor quality, but also to work with the same passion and commitment to personal attention and creativity which has characterised New York Sweets since foundation.

New York Sweets was established in 1987 as a small laboratory and store in Lemesos (Cyprus). Over the years, New York Sweets has grown up into a sweet organisation with a network of seven stores across Cyprus.

New York Sweets specialises in creating exceptional and unique recipes for homemade cookies, brownies, baked cheesecakes, chocolate cakes, fruit cakes, fruit and walnut tarts, carrot cakes, ice cream and many more unique delights. All creations are made by the finest and purest ingredients.

Since 2006, New York Sweets started introducing different products suitable for people who are on a special diet or have other food restrictions. Low calories, low fat, low sugar and, in recent years, stevia but all with the the unique expertise and quality offered by New York Sweets.

For over 30 years now, New York Sweets has been a pioneer in the pastry industry in Cyprus, specializing in the art of creating sweets with exceptional quality and design.

As a family owned and run business, New York Sweets is very committed and sensitive about the high standard quality of their creations.

New York Sweets has been successfully certified since 2003 by the Cyprus Certificate Company for the implementation of
ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 systems.

ISO 22000 is a system that ensures that food safety hazards are identified and adequately controlled at each step, within the production and retail stores.

ISO 9001 is a quality management system that provides a framework for management and the philosophy of continual improvement in all aspects.
